TWIC - Transportation Worker Identification CredentialTWIC, a legal requirement now in force, requires persons needing unescorted access to ports and other facilities regulated under the Maritime Transportation Security Act (MTSA) to pass a special background check and obtain a special government identification credential. TWIC Card Compliance
TWIC credentials will be required in early 2009 for all persons who need unescorted access to MTSA regulated ports, vessels, and offshore platform facilities. We have developed PowerPoint training materials including a TWIC Executive Summary, TWIC Training for Managers, TWIC enrollment guide for drivers and transportation workers, and a TWIC Pre-enrollment guide using the actual screens persons will encounter when pre-enrolling on the DHS website. We are currently advising and managing TWIC enrollment projects for many clients.
